March 2017 - Star of the Month - Jentrie Tarrant

Those who work with this month’s Star are quick to note her eagerness to help and contagious smile.  Her dedication to meeting customer needs earned her top honors for new accounts opened in 2016.  We are honored to recognize Jentrie Tarrant, Customer Service Representative, Jacksonville, as our Star of the Month for March 2017.

Jentrie joined the Austin Bank family in 2011 as a Teller in the Jacksonville South office where she was voted Favorite Bank Teller by the readership of the local newspaper.  Moving to the Downtown Jacksonville office as a Customer Service Representative in 2013, Amy Pate notes Jentrie is “quick to help customers who come into the lobby and is one of the first to assist the Teller line when traffic is backed up out of the door.”  “She is very kind and goes the extra mile to help anyone she can,” shares Ana Hinojosa, Customer Service Representative in Jacksonville.  Dawn DeVillers, Administrative Assistant, comments, “When I need assistance with an account, not only is Jentrie happy to help, she goes beyond giving me an answer to walking me through the process, explaining how it is done.  Those who encounter Jentrie receive her undivided attention and are given the utmost respect.”

 

Jentrie and her husband, Michael Jack, live in Jacksonville on a working ranch surrounded by cattle and horses.  Though new to the ranch life, she enjoys spending time with her family and children whether tending to the animals, or watching Kay Lee, Bailey and Jack play soccer or softball.  Jentrie also enjoys shopping and reading . . . when time permits.  A member of First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, she is a graduate of Jacksonville High School and Tyler Junior College.
